Adelin is a Maiden of the Spear of the Jindo sept of the Taardad Aiel.

She is yellow-haired and handsome, but she has a hard face. She also has a scar that cuts across her cheek, and is a hand shorter than Rand and ten years older than Rand.

She was one of the Maidens who played Maiden's Kiss with Mat and was leader of the Maidens who were Rand's escort in Rhuidean. She deflects Couladin's spear when he is trying to stab Rand at Alcair Dal.

She accompanies Rand when he leaves Rhuidean. When she takes off to dance the spears during a night attack on the Aiel's camp by Shadowsworm, Rand al'Thor is attacked by Draghkar. When her and the rest of the Maidens who were supposed to be guarding him find out, they all recieve punishments from the Wise Ones in the form of carrying a doll.
