After Breaking

Often abbreviated for historical purposes as AB, this was period of time, following the breaking when man was able to rebuild its civilization. The system lasted for roughly 1,350 years. During this time. trust was always in short supply, and out of the breaking emerged Ten Nations that control the majority of the Westlands.

This era of time lasted until the fragile piece of the new age was shattered by the onslaught of the Trolloc Wars. After the Trolloc Wars ended, the massive amount of lost records resulted in a debate over exactly what year it was under the After Breaking system. This confusion was the reason for the replacement of this system with that of the Free Years.
