Akarrin Comeris is an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah, who has allied herself with the Salidar Aes Sedai[1].
Appearance[]
She is slim, with quick eyes. She has a plain brown wool dress, and a cloak with surprisingly elaborate green embroidery. [2] She nodded for emphasis with almost every other word.
History[]
Akarrin is 199 years old. She was born in 801 NE and went to the White Tower in 816 NE. After eleven years as a novice and ten as Accepted she was raised to the shawl in 837 NE.
She taught Moiraine and Siuan when they were novices and Accepted.
Abilities[]
Akarrin is very weak for an Aes Sedai, with a One Power strength level of 34(22) and thus far down in the Aes Sedai hierarchy. She is not strong enough to Travel. She is a little stronger than Siuan (after her stilling and Healing)
She is an expert in reading residues.[2]
Activities[]
She is sent to where the huge amount of saidar was detected during what was then unknown but will eventually be called the Cleansing of saidin. She reports to the Rebel Hall of the Tower of an enormous hole with huge amounts of saidin residues. [2] This news is the impetus for the alliance of the White Tower and the Black Tower.
Errata[]
The Wheel of Time Companion says she was raised to the shawl in 829 NE, but this is not possible given her birth date, enrollment and training times. Rather than assume an error in the other figures, we adjust the date above to 837 NE.
