Alaabar Harnesh is a Lord Captain in the Children of the Light. He is from Murandy.

He is a short and bald man. He lost his left ear in battle.
Activities[]
Harnesh attends the meeting of Rhadam Asunawa and Galadedrid Damodred. Harnesh seems to accept Galad's arguments that a Darkfriend would not have been able to kill Valda while the Children of the Light were formal, standing witnesses.[1] He is one of the Lord Captains who rise up against Asunawa and his men. He then pledges his support and loyalty behind Galad. While traveling through Ghealdan, he debates with Galad about the merit of of sending a letter to the White Tower to ask if the Children of the Light can become allies with the Aes Sedai.
The Children of the Light's force are about to engage Perrin Aybara's force when Galad decides to parley with Perrin. He leaves Harnesh in command and tells him to charge the enemy if anything happens to him. After the trial Galad commands Harnesh to strike camp as he wants to put as much distance between their own force and Perrin's.
