He has shaven and dusted the front of his hair in the fashion of a Cairhienin soldier. His hair is long and dark at the back.

He is in charge of clearing free the male Choedan Kal. He meets Rand al'Thor in The Nine Rings. He assigns Elricain Tavolin to be Rand's bodyguard while Rand is in Cairhien. He is surprised when Rand tells him Selene leaves The Nine Rings during the night even though he had soldiers watching it.
