Amico was slender and beautiful, with large dark eyes.

She was the youngest of the thirteen that fled, and was young for an Aes Sedai, being only four years older than Elayne. It is first noticed by Aviendha that she lost the the ageless look of an Aes Sedei when she is stilled, and looks years younger than she is now.
[edit] Notes on Age
Elayne was only 18 or 19 at this time, making Amico 22 or 23. Since Amico is stated as having the ageless look, this is probably impossible given the facts we have currently from the books.
- Firstly, Elayne mentions that women do not begin to slow until their mid-twenties and yet Amico has done if she has the ageless look by 23.
- Secondly, her training time as novice and Accepted would have to be luducrously low for her to have even gained the shawl by 23. Moiraine, Elaida and Siuan are stated as having the record for the shortest training time at a total of six years, and they are all exceptionally strong Aes Sedai.
- Thirdly, all the Black Ajah sisters we have information on have joined the Black Ajah some time after becoming Aes Sedai. This means that she should be old enough to have gained the shawl and joined the Black Ajah.
- Lastly, in the same section they are comparing the large differences between the Black sisters. Egwene says:
“No two were born in the same city, and no more than two in any one country. Amico Nagoyin was the youngest, only four years older than Egwene and I. Joiya Byir could be our grandmother.... ...What chance that thirteen women chosen solely because they were Darkfriends would be so neatly arrayed across age, across nations, across Ajahs? Shouldn’t there be perhaps three Reds, or four born in Cairhien, or just two the same age, if it was all chance? -TGH, Ch. 25This implies that Joiya is meant to be among the oldest Aes Sedai that fled, yet later in the series we see that Asne Zeramene has been Aes Sedai for more than 130 years, never mind what age she was when she gained the shawl. This would mean she is much, much older than Joiya.
Altogether, this means that, possibly, Amico's age or a number of other factors are incorrect, though nothing has not been corrected in later editions.

The girls find a book in her belongings named Customs and Ceremonies of the Tairen Court. This was one of the baits left to draw them to Tear in the trap set by Be'lal and Mesaana.
While in Tear, she is falling asleep on guard duty when Egwene al'Vere binds her in air in Tel'aran'rhiod and partially cuts her from the True source. She was stilled when Nynaeve broke the shield she was holding over Egwene, Nynaeve and Elayne Trakand.
She is taken prisoner and questioned by the three girls in the Stone of Tear about where the Black Ajah fled. She points them towards Tanchico. She has a defeated attitude now and acts as an Accepted towards Moiraine Damodred when she sees her.
She was murdered, along with Joiya Byir, by Slayer, who cut their throats and nailed their tongues to the floor.
