Ayako Norsoni is an Aes Sedai of the White Ajah.

She is small, with waist-length black hair, black eyes and a Domani-dark complexion.

She has remained loyal to the White Tower during the split.

Ayako was one of the fifty-one Sisters, led by Toveine, sent by Elaida to take out the Black Tower. Ayako was the only White sister in that party, the White Ajah insisting on at least one representative. As such, she is not Black Ajah.

They were all captured and bonded by the Asha'man. Ayako was bonded to Donalo Sandomere. She blames Toveine for the failure of the expedition.

She Travels with Sandomere and Logain Ablar to Tear to find Rand al'Thor. She takes part in the battle against the Trollocs that attack Algarin Pendaloan's manor. She is then part of the group that burns all the bodies left behind afterwards.

She watches Rand's meeting with the Daughter of the Nine Moons from a distance and Travels in as back up when it is revealed that the Daughter of the Nine Moons is actually Semirhage.
