Master Bartim is the innkeeper of the Wayfarers' Rest in Whitebridge. He is a canny innkeeper who has divided his common room into sections to keep feuding ships' crews away from one another, and keeps his ear to the ground for the latest news and gossip.

He briefly encountered Rand al'Thor, Mat Cauthon and Thom Merrilin stopped at the inn for food after disembarking from the Spray, giving them the news that the false Dragon Logain Ablar had been captured in battle.
