[edit] A Memory of Light
The Gathering Storm will be released on 27 October 2009. While Sanderson was originally intending to follow Robert Jordan's wishes in making it a single volume[5], the scope and scale of the project soon led Sanderson, Tor, and Harriet Rigney to split it into three books. The second two 'parts', Towers of Midnight and A Memory of Light, will be released approximately a year apart, culminating in late 2011.
