A Lord of Kandor, he is Consort and husband to Queen Ethenielle Cosaru Noramaga. He is a stocky middle aged man, more suited to battle than court. He is the Swordbearer or general of Kandor's armies.

During battle both himself and Lan Mandragoran had saved each other several times. They meet each other again in Chachin and is present when Edeyn Arrel pledges her fealty to Lan. After witnessing his son Diryk killed by Merean Redhill, he himself is killed by her.
