Captain General (Seanchan)

There are only two men who we know of having held this rank among the Seanchan. They are:

Kennar Miraj- He was the military commander in charge of the soldiers in the Corenne before his death on the battlefield in Illian. He was killed by Rand al'Thor's reckless use of Callandor.

AND:

Lunal Galgan- Is the current commander of the forces of the Seanchan, having arrived with the Hailene.

[edit] Background

The Lieutenant-General was a rank in the armies used during the period a few centuries before the Trolloc Wars until the War of a Hundred Years that commanded a Great Legion.

Speculation may also place Matrim Cauthon at this rank, given that the Band of the Red Hand is otherwise structured according to this historical ranking system.
