Council of Nine

The Council of Nine is one of the governing bodies of Illian. It shares governing power with the King and the Assemblage.

The Council of Nine meets in the Great Hall of the Council. It is situated across from the King's Palace in the Square of Tammaz. The palace is identical to the King's Palace, even down to the lamps, but slightly smaller in every dimension. Each member of the council wears a green sash, even over armor.

Sammael either replaced a gap in the Council of Nine or created a gap by murdering an existing member. "Lord Brend" was replaced by Marac Pandelaros den Norvin. The other eight known members presumably have not changed in recent years.
