Cumere Powys is one of the thirteen Counsels of Far Madding.

She is among the rest of the Councils to greets Cadsuane Melaidhrin, Harine din Togara Two Winds and the rest of their group to Far Madding. She escorts the group to their quarters. She is in meet with the other Councils over the fate of Rand al'Thor when Cadsuane bursts in and demands on Rand's release.
