Delving

The act of "feeling around" with the One Power to look for injuries and illnesses. This is often used directly before Healing.

Delving also refers to the use of the Power to search the earth for metal ores and such. Since Delving of this sort requires strength in Earth and Fire, powers which are rare in women, this application of the word Delving has fallen out of use, although evidence suggests that the Seanchan damane are slightly more common to show a talent in the area.
