She is willowy. She wears her Great Serpent ring on her right hand.

She was an Accepted in the White Tower during the Aiel War when the Dragon is reborn.
She stands highly among Aes Sedai - highest (along with Lemai) among those who were captured at the Black Tower.

She sides with Elaida's White Tower after the coup.
She is one of fifty-one sisters that took part in the attack on the Black Tower.
She and Lemai become the leaders of the captive Aes Sedai. They issue orders that all Aes Sedai must achieve cordial relations with their Asha'man captives. According to Toveine Gazal, this is simply a ploy to lull the men into becoming amenable to them.
Toviene dislikes taking any orders from them.
