She is the Wisdom of Watch Hill.

She has long, grey hair that she wears braided in the Two Rivers style.

She is almost old enough to be Milla al'Azar's mother.

She has held the office of Wisdom for a long time. The other Wisdoms of the Two Rivers, excepting Daise Congar, appear to follow her lead.

She does not have the Talent of Listening to the Wind.

She brings some of her dried-apple tarts to 'Lord Perrin' as a gift. The people of the Two Rivers wish to assess whether or not Perrin is going to be right for the region.

She is disappointed that she did not get the post of Wisdom in Emond's Field after Nynaeve's departure.

She, Milla al'Azar, Daise Congar and Elwinn Taron meet with Faile to discuss events in the Two Rivers. They find talking to Faile easier because of the unexpected effect Perrin's Ta'veren abilty has on their resolve. Edelle comments on their having been no rain for months.
