She has a pleasant-face with brown eyes.

She is from Andor.
She has one Warder, Fearil. Like her, he is a Darkfriend.

She was taken prisoner by the Asha'man after the battle at Dumai's Wells but begged to be allowed to swear fealty to the Dragon Reborn. She appears somewhat fanatical in her following of Rand. Elza swears fealty to Rand after saying she realized that it was crucial that al'Thor make it to the Last Battle, so her true master, the Dark One, can defeat him there.
She Travels with Cadsuane to Far Madding to track down Rand. During the Battle near Shadar Logoth, under Cadsuane's direction, she linked with Jahar Narishma and Merise Haindehl to defend Rand against an attack by the Forsaken. During the attack, Corlan Dashiva was killed by Elza.
The group Travel to Algarin Pendaloan's house in Tear, where Rand recovers after cleansing Saidin. Elza stands guard over him and has become very protective of him, even just about using physical means to stop people from seeing him. She meets with her Warder, Fearil, when he arrives in Tear and doesn't seem shy on inflicting pain on him. She has decided that some people in the group are going to have to die soon.
She participates in the battle with the Trollocs when they attack the manor. After the battle she escorts Davram Bashere to Rand and then helps to burn all the dead bodies away. She watches Rand's meeting with the Daughter of the Nine Moons from a distance and Travels in as back up when it is revealed that the Daughter of the Nine Moons is actually Semirhage, who is taken captive.

After Semirhage is freed by Shaidar Haran, she and Elza ensnare Rand with the male a'dam. Rand escaped, then killed both women with balefire. |

Min had a viewing of Elza, along with Sarene Nemdahl, Nesune Bihara, Erian Boroleos, Sorilea, and Beldeine Nyram, that each of them would serve Rand in their own fashion.
