Ewin Finngar is a teenage boy^[1] who lives in Emond's Field.

He is lean-faced with wide shoulders.

Matrim Cauthon plays a trick on him. He tells Mat and Rand al'Thor about the arrival of Moiraine Damodred and Lan Mandragoran to Emond's Field. He meets Moiraine, who gives him a silver penny.

He helps carry Perrin Aybara inside the Winespring Inn. He helps defend Emond's Field against the invading Trolloc army.

He leaves the Two Rivers with Elam Dowtry and Dav Ayellin to explore the world.
