Elza has been cultivating the rumor for the past twenty years that they are married to ensure that no suspicion falls on them for their private meetings.

When Elza Travels to Far Madding, she leaves Fearil behind in Cairhien. He then Travels with Logain Ablar and Davram Bashere to Tear to find Rand al'Thor and Elza. She has ordered Fearil to kill anyone who might threaten the Dragon Reborn.

He escourts Elza to Rand's meeting with the Semirhage.
