Master Fitch is the innkeeper of the Stag and Lion in Baerlon.

He is a rotund, good-natured man.

Activities Edit

Because he thinks very highly of "Mistress Alys" and "Master Andra," he finds room for them and the Emond's Fielders in his crowded inn, making sure that they are refreshed and well-fed.

After a Fade attacks Rand at night, necessitating their departure from the inn, Lan and Moiraine urge Fitch to be open with potential troublemakers and clearly show his disassociation with their party, but he stubbornly insists on protecting their privacy and honor. His principles lead to his inn being torched, presumably by the Whitecloaks, who are rife in Baerlon at the time. Moiraine later organizes compensation so that he might rebuild.
