Gera was a cook in the rebel Aes Sedai's camp.[1] She is described as a very good cook and a very fat woman.

She once dreams herself into Tel'aran'rhiod as an Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah "weighing no more than half what she really did".
She is seen in the world of dreams while Elayne and Nynaeve are teaching about it to Siuan, Leane, Anaiya, Beonin, Carlinya, Morvrin, Myrelle and Sheriam.
