Highest is the title of the head of the Red Ajah. Pevara notes that the Highest has almost absolute authority over any Red sister and over the Sitters too. The Highest's commands are to be obeyed.

Women who have held this title are, in chronological order:

• Tesien Jorhold - Was Highest when Pevara Tazanovni was raised to the Red around 130 years before present day.
• Galina Casban - Was elected to Highest 18 years ago. Was captured at Battle of Dumai's Wells by the Shaido and presumed dead by the White Tower.
• Tsutama Rath - Was elected to Highest to replace Galina. Was one of the exiled Sitters from the Red Ajah that were invited back to the Tower by Elaida.
