An Illuminator is a member of the Illuminator's Guild, the secretive guild that manufactures fireworks. When the Seanchan demolished the main Guild Chapterhouse, the Guild as a whole ceased to exist; it is carried on in spirit by the last remaining Illuminator, Aludra.
