Isendre is in the company of a band of peddlers in the Aiel Waste.

She is young with dark hair and a palely beautiful heart-shaped face. She has dark eyes and a smoky voice.
[edit] Activities
She accompanies Hadnan Kadere and the rest of the peddlers into the Aiel Waste where they meet up with Rand al'Thor. She appears to be a Darkfriend. She seems to enjoy giving Rand seductive smiles on their way to Alcair Dal even though she is with Kadere. She even flirts with Matrim Cauthon for awhile. She is disgusted by Keille and is very rude to her and isn't aware that she is infact Lanfear in disguse. Lanfear gets even with her later by planting stolen necklaces in her wagon, which the Aiel find and beat her for punishment.
Afterwards she is made Gai'shain by Maidens of the Spear. She now only wears the bracelets she stole and nothing else. When the Aiel begin to move towards Cairhien she is forced to wear black. She tries to sleep with Rand but only manages to sleep with Asmodean, who reveals nothing to her. Trying to again sneak into Rand's tent earns her a shaved head with stinging nettle all over her body and she finally breaks. She is killed by Kadere when he gets worried she will reveal that he is also a Darkfriend.
