Janwin is the clan chief of the Shiande Aiel.

He has a fierce creased face, blue-gray eyes, and gray hair.
History[]
Janwin is of the Degalle sept. He is married to the roofmistress Corida. The Wise One Baellin is in service to him.[1]
Activities[]
His clan joins Rand al'Thor's forces after the Shaido siege of Cairhien. He now occupies Cairhien. When Rand was kidnapped by White Tower Aes Sedai the bleakness hits his clan hard.
Rand uses Merana Ambrey as a servant to convince Janwin that he is not an Aes Sedai puppet in the hope Janwin will continue to support him.
