Jolien was a Far Dareis Mai from the Salt Flat sept and the Nakai clan.

She is blue eyed with red gold hair.

She was among the first Aiel to cross the Spine of the World in a quest for the Car'a'carn. She meets Egwene al'Vere and Nynaeve al'Meara while on their way to Tear and is present when Nynaeve heals Dailin from an injury.

She was one of the Aiel who helped Rand al'Thor capture the Stone of Tear.

She followed Rand from Tear to the battle of Cairhien where she died.
