She and her sister both become novices in Murandy. She and her sister are placed in different novice families once they enroll. She has barely seen her since becoming a novice.

Leane Sharif tells her that her meeting with her sister will have to wait and orders her to hold onto Egwene al'Vere's horse until a groom arrives. Egwene has a private word with Leane later and suggests that Letice should be allowed to see her sister.
