Maringil was a Lord from a major House of Cairhien.

He is tall and very thin, with long white hair to his shoulders.

He was one of the Lord's to swear fealty to Rand al'Thor. His ambition is to sit on the Sun Throne with Meilan Mendiana and Colavaere Saighan being his main rivals. After Rand is kidnapped by the White Tower Aes Sedai, Maringil is assassinated by Colavaere.
