Maighdin Trakand is a deceased noblewoman from Andor. She was the High Seat of House Trakand, the mother of Morgase Trakand and the grandmother of Elayne Trakand and Gawyn Trakand. She died before Morgase took the Lion Throne.

After Tigraine's disappearance, Maighdin was legally set to become Queen of Andor, possibly due to a relation with Queen Mordrellen Mantear. However, she died of a fever at some point, and the lack of a clear heir set of the Third Succession War. Morgase made her own claim to the Lion Throne, a claim probably helped by her mother's former position, and eventually won it.
