Mara and the Three Foolish Kings is an epic told by Gleemen throughout the Westlands.

Mara steals the crowns of Kings Madel, Orander and Kadar and then leaves them floundering in the mud next to a river assumed to be nearby Heape. When the residents of Heape hear how foolish the kings were, they decide that they will have no King.
