Marillin Gemalphin is an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah. She is also Black Ajah and one of Liandrin's Group of Black Sisters. She is from Andor.

She is skinny, with dreamy blue eyes and lifeless brown hair. She has a narrow face.

She loves cats and other animals, quite possibly more than she likes people, going out of her way to Heal stray cats and dogs.

[edit] Fleeing the White Tower

After fleeing the White Tower she goes to Tear and works for the Forsaken Be'lal. They try to trap Rand al'Thor just after he releases Callandor. After this fails she flees to Tanchico to try and steal the male a'dam from the Panarchs Palace. This plan is also foiled by Elayne Trakand and Nynaeve al'Meara.

She next travels to Caemlyn where rumours have often spread of an Aes Sedai Healing cats and dogs. She is now staying and under the leadership of Lady Shiaine. Marillin was involved in the unsuccessful kidnap attempt on Elayne. She is currently being held, along with the Lady Shiaine and the other Black Ajah Sisters involved, in the Royal Palace dungeon in Caemlyn.
