Melindhra was an Aiel Maiden of the Spear from the Jumai sept and the Shaido clan.

She was about twenty years old, and taller than Mat with long golden hair and pale blue eyes.

She showed interest in Mat starting in Rhuidean. He offered her a necklace. They became romantically involved.

She wrote a letter to Hadnan Kadere trying to get in contact with him. Later, she tried to kill Mat in Cairhien when she found out that Rand al'Thor had asked Mat to lead his forces against Sammael in Illian and he killed her. She was a Darkfriend who must have worked for Sammael.
