Mistress of the Ships

Mistress of Ships is a title given to the ruler of the Atha'an Miere. She is a woman of great power among the Sea Folk, much like a queen. It is common for a Mistress of Ships to be married to the Master of Blades, though its not necessary or even expected. Under her in command are numerous Wavemistresses, and under them are the Sailmistresses.
