He is hard-eyed with a thrusting nose. He is not handsome. He is about the same height as Martyn Tallanvor.

He is a young commander of the Children - about the same age as Tallanvor.

He talks very little.

He is placed in charge of the group of soldiers who guard Morgase Trakand when she leaves the confines of the Fortress of the Light.

He is disgusted by the Dragonsworn.

He refuses to be drawn into any type of conversation with Morgase, despite her repeated attempts to get information out of him.
