Peddlers are traveling merchants, carrying news to isolated communities as much as their goods. Along with the Tinkers and Gleemen, and for a time the Cairhienin, they are the only people allowed by the Aiel to enter the Aiel Waste. Thus far, all of the named peddlers are extremely dangerous and aligned with the Dark One.
