Hall of the Tower (rebel)

The Rebel Hall of the Tower is the alternative Hall of the Tower initially formed by the rebel Aes Sedai Sitters at their camp in Salidar. At Salidar, it was housed in a building known as the Little Hall. Whilst on the march, they convened in the largest available erected tent, an available clearing or in a large purpose-built pavillion for formal Sittings. Once arrived at Tar Valon, this grand pavillion became permanently erected.

Over time, various characters (notably Siuan Sanche and, at the Tower, Seaine Herimon) have become aware of irregularities in the choice of Sitters, both in the Tower and at Salidar; various women have been privately identified as being either "too young" for the role, or simply an "unusual" choice.
Of the Sitters at the Salidar Hall, Salita, Berana, Aledrin, Escaralde, Malind, Samalin, Delana and Kwamesa have been identified as being too young for their role.
It is yet to be revealed what this conspiracy may be attempting to achieve.

It was revealed during a meeting of the Ajah heads (excepting the Red and Blue) that, when the fighting broke out during the attempt to free Siuan, each had sent one Sitter with the intention that they form the leadership and bring everyone home. They did not forsee the Salidar Six already being in place, nor the extent to which they would side with the rebels. |
