Sharina Melloy is an elderly woman who joins the Aes Sedai in Salidar as a Novice. She is noticed as to having even more potential than Nynaeve al'Meara.

She is a dignified, gray haired grandmother, with a tight bun on the back of her head. She has a creased face.

[edit] Nynaeve's testing

The first time she is mentioned is in tGH Chapter 23, The Testing, during Nynaeve Accepted test. In the third of the three arches, Lan comments that Nynaeve is unwell and offers to send for Sharina Sedai, it is unknown how the arches "knew" about Sharina, but Nyneave fears someone with greater potential than her own.

Sharina is mentioned again in WH Chapter 10, A Plan Succeeds by Amyrlin Egwene al'Vere in Tel'aran'rhiod. Egwene mentions how she would like for Nynaeve and Sharina to meet, surprising Nynaeve due to the recognition of the name.

In CoT Chapter 17, Secrets, Sharina and Tiana Noselle, Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah, supervise the making of cuendillar

Sharina is last mentioned in KoD Chapter 23,Call to a Sitting, during which time she reorganizes the whole novice structure into tiny families and is confident it is a done deal.
