A feastday and festival at midsummer, and is celebrated in many parts of the world. This is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year.

In the Two Rivers, Sunday is a day of feasting, dancing and wearing your best clothes. Rand recalls Whatley Eldin painting his wagon in bright colors and intricate scrollwork in preparation for Sunday. Young men compete in competitions of speed, strength and skill on Sunday, including archery and quarterstaff.
