Are sa'angreal just powerful an'greal?Edit

I would disagree that sa'angreal are a specific kind of an'greal. As I recall, there are two distinct categories of object. I just checked the glossary entry for sa'angreal in A Crown of Swords, and it clearly considers them distinct from angreal, saying, for example, "A sa'angreal is similar to, but more powerful than, an angreal." I think the 'similar to' is referring to its function, which is what I'm talking about when I say "a more powerful angreal." There may be other qualities of a sa'angreal that separates its function from that of a normal angreal, but they have not been mentioned (to my knowledge) in any of the canon.Mhoskins 15:52, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Well, about half the glossary entry is contrasting angreal and sa'angreal, as in, "Only a handful remain, far fewer even than angreal." In particular, I would consider calling Callandor an angreal to be incorrect. Eric119 05:51, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

Stacking angreal/sa'angrealEdit

I just wondered whether it would be possible to "stack" angreal and be able to draw greater amounts of the one power by just using multiple angreal at the same time. Anyone knows something about this? Seanor Lightbringer 18:43, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Ebou Dar Edit

Elayne and Nynaeve went through the stack of stuff they got from Ebou Dar and threw out anything they did not get a resonance from. Did they ever consider that they could have dumped tons of male angreal and ter'angreal without knowing it?Joedmd 04:02, February 3, 2011 (UTC)
