Um, is Dragonmount really west of Tar Valon? I thought it was part of the Spine of the World, which is obviously east of TV... I was about to add a page for Kinslayer's Dagger actually, and believe that KD and Dragonmount were one and the same... now I'm not sure anymore!! Aristoc 12:22, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- It is to the West. You can just about see it on this map. This one shows it more clearly, and I'm sure there are others available via Google. --TheParanoidOne 21:01, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Quibble, Quibble
In the prologue to TEOTW, Lews Therin starts out insane from the taint on saidin, but Ishamael cures him in order to force him to understand what he has done to his friends and family in his madness. It is only then that Lews Therin, in utter despair for what he has done, begins channeling enormous amounts of the One Power, which leads to his death and the creation of Dragonmount. One could make a successful argument for suggesting that Therin was mad, but by then it was not because of the taint, but because of what Therin had learned he had done when he was insane.Pedantic 18:15, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
