The reason Elza wants to see Rand make it too the Last Battle is because of Verin's use of a form of compulsion at the start of book 7. She used it on all the Aes Sedai captured who've sworn fealty. I believe after its been used on them their minds reconcile it with themselves so for Elza, she swore fealty to Rand to get him to the Last Battle so the Dark One can defeat him.
