We should make a list of present-day blademasters. I don't remember if Tam was an official blademaster or just had a heron-mark sword, but I believe several others were blademasters. Rand is a blademaster by now, and though I can't remember whether his sword carries the heron-mark, there's no real question about Lan being a blademaster (in truth, even if not officially recognized.) One of the Seanchan that Rand fought at Falme was a blade master (I forget his name) and I believe that Laman was a blademaster, or at least carried a heron-mark sword.

The assumption seems to be that if you carry a heron-mark sword, whether it's OP-forged or not, you must be a blademaster. Rand keeps getting funny looks in the early books because he's too young to possibly be one, and yet he has Tam's sword. I started a list at blademasters, hopefully we can verify/expand it... nae'blis _(talk) 18:27, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
