157.89.60.210 13:35, 11 April 2006 (UTC) Hmm. Should a bit be added for Taim and a few other characters regarding pronunciation of the names? I know that I mentally pronounced it "Tame" until I went to a book signing for KoD. (This is Kefkakrazy here. I logged in and it didn't register or something... hmmph.)

I'd love to have pronunciation guides, but don't know whether to go with an informal (toe-MAY-toe) system, or American English, or IPA. I really can't understand IPA natively myself, but maybe it's more common than I think and I'm just dumb... nae'blis (talk) 15:51, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
Hmm, well this should work ... --Gherald 17:22, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

That's awesome! We could go with that sort of thing... I was actually thinking that the informal system suggested by Nae'blis would work fairly well, too (Tah-EEM, Nine-EVE, SHAWN-chan, etc.)
I like that idea, since that's what Jordan uses in the glossaries and we wouldn't have to locate somebody trained in IPA. The .wav files are okay, but that's a resource that already exists... do we want to put them inline, or in the charbox, or in a separate section? I'd prefer inline, such as:
Mazrim Taim (MAHZ-rihm Tah-EEM) is a Saldaean ...
