Paulish: In the last paragraph that states that things similar to oath rods were used on criminals, i believe that it conflicts or is lacking detail, what if the criminal cannot channel? I do not remember it saying that anywhere, although i have not read the newest book or the guide or prequel. please clarify for me.

Kefkakrazy: Probably, other binders were made which could work on non-channeling criminals.

Sammael mentiond things called binding chairs that can be used on non-channelers in A Crown of Swords. Howabout 04:30, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

--Al'Lan Mandragoran 23:22, 22 July 2007 (UTC)This doesn't directly relate to oath rods, but in The Great Hunt Sheriam explains that there are Ter'angreal that work even on non-channelers. I would assume there would be rods as such.
