Talk:Rebirth

From A Wheel of Time Wiki

[edit] Reintergration

Ok, has this little tibit been confirmed yet or is is still just something that Rand had told to him by a Forsaken. In earlier books the Forsaken seem shaken that Rand might be able to speak to LTT, but does anyone know if this is because of the knowledge that he might glean or just because the concept is frightening? They also seem somewhat shocked that he has knowledge of the Age of Legends that he shouldn't. Or do you think the odds are so skewed for this happening they never suspected that it could happen to such a prominate figure? Thoughts? - Elliot N 17:53, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

Okay, why does this article come up about 3:5 when I hit the Flciker, Flicker button. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Randfan (talkcontribs) 00:10, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Basic Premise of the Article

I have a problem with the very first line in the article. Rebirth in the Wheel of Time is not meant (or perhaps "believed" would be a better term) to be a rare occurrence, limited only to heroes and persons with special purposes. I base this on the common use of the oath: "I swear by the Light and my hope of rebirth..." the most solemn and binding oath a citizen of the Wheel can make. The common belief is that rebirth is available to everyone, though what the decision to return to the mortal coil and who or Who makes that decision is not really addressed. I'm trying to say, we really know a lot less about rebirth in the WOT universe than this article leads us to believe.Pedantic 17:20, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
