Frequency of actual Hunts vs. mere tellings of the epic[]
There is some mention in TGH, by Thom perhaps, that the Great Hunt has been called for the first time in a long time (since the hundred years war, IIRC?). Do we know when exactly actual Hunts have been called (if so, should be mentioned at Horn of Valere) and how does that compare to how often gleemen/bards tell the epic? Isn't the later considerably more frequent, so isn't it wrong to say it is told "usually after an official hunt has been called by Illian." ? --Gherald 05:24, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
