River Tarendrelle

The River Tarendrelle flows out of the Mountains of Mist, into eastern Andor. It rises high in the mountains and descends steeply, at one point dramatically forming the waterfall known as Eldrene's Veil. The Taren, as it is also called, forms the northern border of the Two Rivers district of Andor. The village of Taren Ferry is located on the riverbank. To the south-west the Tarendrelle flows into the River Manetherendrelle, called the White River in the Two Rivers, with the junction of the two rivers creating a marshland known as the Mire

The Tarendrelle was where the forces of Manetheren made a stand against a horde of Trollocs and Dreadlords during the Trolloc Wars, although the final battle was fought to the south on Aemon's Field.
