We are tying to the dock at Tear now he says when they ask about getting to Tear. They get to an inn, and Mat sees the building with herbs in the window. The girls won’t be here, Thom, Mat says. Mat only gets food at the inn, and Thom left his belongings inside. Mat asks about the women at all the inns, then go back to the White Cresent inn. The man looking for the girls is in the inn, and Mat kills him. The innkeeper says he will give him Rand’s description, “a man I dreamed of”, he says, “he’s not real”. Mat says his luck only works when things are random. |
