Setting: White Tower in Tar Valon

Summary[]

Point of view: Egwene al'Vere

Egwene is waiting for her formal summons to the Hall while Lairain instructs her in the formalities. Egwene orders the Rebel Aes Sedai to wait at the Sunset Gate and prepare to make an apology for rebelling against the White Tower. Egwene enters the Hall where eleven Sitters await. Those missing are on tower business or are Black Ajah that fled. Egwene orders that Silviana be brought from her cell to the Hall immediately. The ceremony commences and Egwene is raised again as Amyrlin. Finally Saerin Asnobar places the stole over Egwene's shoulders, concluding the ceremony.

Silviana arrives and approaches Egwene and kneels. Some of the sitters object to Egwene dispensing justice at this time. She berates all of them for the injustice done to Silviana, the dissension among the Ajahs, the original decision to depose Siuan and raise Elaida and their inaction as Elaida made one poor decision after another. She then requests Silviana to be her keeper to show that the Red Ajah is not being left out of events. After a few encouraging words to the Sitters, they leave the Hall to meet up with the Rebel Aes Sedai.

Egwene addresses both groups of Aes Sedai shaming them for their actions but encouraging them to begin anew to make a re-forged White Tower
