If you are coming here for help from an administrator, please leave a comment on my talk page and I will be happy to help as much as I can.

I also have a fair bit of knowledge on templates, tables, formatting and other wiki code, both related to this wiki and in general. If I don't know the answer, I will try to find out.

If you have a specific question regarding Wheel of Time content, I may be able to help. I generally have access to the prequel and the thirteen main-series books and I have the guide at home. If you need something looked up, I may be able to help.

My beginningEdit

I've been reading the series since early 2007. A friend of mine recommended the series and so I made a note of looking at it the next time I was in a bookstore. When I picked up The Eye of the World, my first thought was that I wouldn't like it. I was not into any fantasy series. However, I decided to give it a try. I can't remember where I was in the book that it hit me that I was hooked, but I have been ever since. It took me about a month to get all the way through to Knife of Dreams. When I got The Gathering Storm, I read it twice in three days. I have been through the series about three times and am now doing a re-read and a first time listen to the audio books.

My Cast List of The Wheel of TimeEdit

Every now and then, I see an actor and I think to myself "That person would be great as (character)." So, here is my list. Just for fun.

• Donald Sutherland as Pedron Niall. Various movies and shows, especially Commander in Chief.
• Linda Hunt as Lini Eltring. I saw Ms. Hunt on a preview of NCIS Los Angeles and the look and tone of her said Lini.
• John O'Hurley as Valan Luca. It wasn't his hosting on Family Feud that made me think of Mr. O'Hurly as Valan Luca, but a real quick preview of and episode of Seinfeld.
• Holly Marie Combs as Nynaeve al'Meara. A little old, but she would make a great Nynaeve based on her performance as Piper Halliwell in Charmed.
• Glenn Close as Cadsuane Melaidhrin. The previews of Damages when she walks down the hall hit me like a ton of bricks!
• Kathy Bates as Verin Mathwin. Her performance on The Blind Side got me thinking of Verin
• Mira Furlan as Moiraine Damodred. When I read Moiraine, Mira Furlan's accent on Babylon 5 as Delen is what I think of.
• Sean Connery as Gareth Bryne. I was listening to The Fires of Heaven when Gareth first comes to Salidar and he fits very well.
• Helena Bonham Carter as Moghedien. Her work in the Harry Potter series as well as the previews for Alice in Wonderland.
• Chow Yun-Fat as Turak Aladon. When I was reading The Great Hunt, Turak's conversation style fit very well with Chow Yun-Fat's performance in The Pirates of the Caribbean. The only reason I would not have him as Turak is because Turak is only in three scenes and I believe that would be kind of a waste of a really great actor for such a small part.
• Scarlett Johansson as Elayne Trakand. I saw a commercial or something on TV the other day and this is one that just kinda hit me.
• Dana Delany as Sheriam Bayanar. Based on several performances.
• Johnny Depp as Asmodean. Self-explanatory.
• Alan Rickman as Demandred. His great performance in several movies. I was listening to the audio-book of Lord of Chaos and Mr. Rickman's voice kind of came through.
• Geoffrey Rush as Bayle Domon. His performance as Captain Barbossa in the Pirates series. And I think he can do the Illianer accent.
• Suzie Plakson as Morgase Trakand. I was listening to The Fires of Heaven when Morgase was fleeing Caemlyn and when she speaks with the Caemlyn resident about directions to Basel Gill's inn, Ms. Plakson's voice really came through.
• J.G. Hertzler and Shannon Cochran as Davram and Deira Bashere. Wow. Major, huge, giant, ton of bricks. I was listening to Lord of Chaos when Perrin first meets his in-laws. If you are a fan of Star Trek, you will know these two as Chancellor Martok and his wife, Sirella. They show up in the episode You Are Cordially Invited. They would both work really well for those two characters.
• Kevin J. O'Conner as Padan Fain. I was watching The Mummy last night and it just fell into place.
• Rachel Luttrell as Aviendha. She plays very well as an "outsider" in Stargate: Atlantis. Maybe a little old for the role, but still, would be great.
• Oded Rehr as Lan Mandragoran. It wasn't The Mummy, but a commercial that flashed on the TV. He can definitely play the protector role as a Warder.
• Russell Crowe as Rodel Ituralde. Commercials for Robin Hood as well as his roll in Gladiator.
• Liam Neeson also as Rodel Ituralde. Just got done watching K-19.
• Greg Anderson as Masema Dagar. This just popped in my head. Greg Anderson plays a zealot of sorts on Stargate SG-1. Definitely would work when Masema goes into Prophet mode.
• Louise Fletcher as Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan. For those of you who are Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fans, the attitudes and personalities of both Kai Winn and Elaida are very similar.
• James Earl Jones as Hopper. It's the voice.
• Cate Blanchett as Moghedien. Her performance in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull said "the Spider" to me.
